Most Strategic Ways to Accelerate Your Helping Skills!

Bonjour!

Over the last few days, me and my hub have been doing volunterring outside of the Community. We are doing these activites because it fits in well under our PBL Driving Question ("What will the future ask of us") and lends a helping hand out to the community. On Friday we got sent out a Google Form asking what our first, second and third choice in order would be. The activites that we got a choice from were: Painting, Curtain Bank and 0800 Hungry. My choices were: 1st: Painting, 2nd: 0800 Hungry, 3rd: Curtain Bank. I was very lucky as I got my first choice which I was very happy about. (Painting!)
Down below is a little bit about each activity.

Painting: This is where we went to a site and painted fences in the colour grey. We did this while painting over Graffiti. (Also known as just painting a fence!)

Curtain Bank: This is where we created Curtains and then got them ready for people to use.

0800 Hungry: This is where we packaged food for people who need it most.

We are\have done\doing these activites over 4 days. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Down below are some photos from the day.  (These are not all of them. I am waiting for the rest of them! Check back soon for some more photos!)

Have you ever done something like this before?
Have you ever lent a helping hand out someone outside or inside of the community before?

World Maths Day!

Hello Bloggers!!

Over the last few weeks me and my hub have been using Mathletics. Mathletics is a website where you learn maths that you don't know. You either start of with hard maths challenges or easy maths challenges. After one week you start going up a level if you did well. If you didn't do that well  you would either get the same task again or get a similar one. My tasks that I was given were so fun and challenging.
It was so much fun learning new maths and having a go at Mathletics and seeing what it was all about.

Have you ever done Mathletics before??

Last week our school was involved in World Maths Day. World Maths Day is a challenge where you do maths. You had four options of who you could verse. They are: competing around the world, your school, computer players and your home base. At the top of the page you could choose the level that you competed in. The ones that you had were the ones that were in circled in a pentagon.
I has so much fun with the World Maths Day challenges and would love to try it again next time.

Have you ever participated in the World Maths Day challenges before??
