My Step out Writing!

During week 3 and 4 we were learning about how to step out some writing. Step out writing is where you read a short story and then mix the story up in your own words.  This step out story was based on the Gingerbread Man. While I was writing this story, I was concentrating on how to make it different from the Gingerbread Man. Here are 2 paragraphs of my step out story. I hope you enjoy!

The Old Rusty Pie!

Once upon a time  there was a little ugly  old lady and a little ugly old man who who lived in a rusty cottage near the dirty river. One morning the little ugly old lady and the ugly little old man were hungry so they decided to make a delicious apple pie. She heated the juicy apples, then dried the hot apples, then added spicy sugar, chocolate cinnamon, salty salt and cornstarch.

After that she cut out a humongous circle from the apple  pie and then put it in the hot oven to cook. When the apple pie was cooked the little ugly old lady opened the oven door but before she could take it out of the oven and let it cool the apple pie jumped out and ran through the cottage and jumped  out the door.
