The Wonderling- Book Review

Today in this blog I am going to be sharing a review on one of the books that I have read for Lit Club as well as for a Pizza challenge. Enjoy!


Title: The Wonderling

Summary: (Part 1)
The Wonderling is about a rabbit named number thirteen who gets put into a foster home. He gets cold and soggy porridge for breakfast, NO LUNCH!! and watery pea soup with stale bread. Number thirteen hates it!! One afternoon number thirteen names a new friend called Trinket. When Trinket heard his name for the first time, he was astonished. How come they names you this? Number Thirteen shrugged his shoulders. Then Trinket decided to make up a new name for Number Thirteen. He named him Arthur. Arthur loved his new name! That afternoon when they got called into the hall, Miss Carbunkle accused Arthur for putting piglets into her beanie. She threw Arthur around by his bunny ears and let go. The next morning, Arthur woke up to find Trinket starring into his eyes. He had finally woke up from his injury. He was fine, just a high fever. 10 minutes later, Trinket gave Arthur a raisin biscuit to try. When Arthur had a bite, he LOVED it!! He wanted more so he started searching around the room for more!

A few days later, Trinket made a plan to escape. It took Trinket a while to convince Arthur but in the end he did. Before they left, Miss Carbunkle saw Arthur and Trinket about to escape. She tried to catch Arthur first but failed. Just in time Arthur grabbed Trinket's feet and then they left. Off on their adventure they go!!  Do you think Trinket and Arthur can escape before it's to late??


Recommendation:
I would recommend this book to people aged 10 and up because they will love it and will love the adventure that goes along in this book.
