Today in this blog post, I will be talking about the teacher strike that is happening on Wednesday (15th August) . Let's get to it!
So this coming Wednesday, the teachers at my school are going on a strike for us. (The Children). If your teachers are part of the union for Christchurch then your teachers will be participating in it which means no school. (BOOOOOOOOOOOO). This strike is so the teachers can spend more time with us during school time and less time doing all the paper work and attending meetings.
Here is my opinion on this strike:
My opinion on this strike is.. Good. It;s good because at our school we have to email the teachers to check off our work where as if we spend a lot more time with the teachers, we wouldn't have to do that. I also say that the people who own the union are very stupid because they are making the teachers do more work and attend meetings than spending more time with the students so they understand the learning more. Come on teachers! Let's turn this round! Let's make the teachers spend more time with us so we can learn more things faster and easier!
