Like my Title?
Today I will be sharing with you my create task from my Reading Workshop. On Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's (Sometimes Fridays), we do Workshops. You proabably have already heard about this but here is a quick recap anyway. Each day we have 6 Workshops. We have to include: Fitness, Literacy Task, Math Task, Maths Workshop, Reading Workshop and a Writing Workshop. For the 3 Workshops, we have a thing called "Learn,Create,Share." "Learn" is where we learn about what we will be doing over the next 3 days and then start the activites, "Create" is where we either have to create a task based on our Workshop or sometimes do a ScreenCastify and then finally "Share". This is where we share our finished work with the teacher to get the goal checked off and sometimes share it with our peers in the Workshop.
Enough from that, for this weeks Create Task (For my Reading Workshop), we had to choose a paragraph from the story that we read (Called: Kauri Dieback) and then make around 4-5 connections between the text. (Based on our Goal which was: Make connections between texts and own life experiences, using more sophisticated texts. )
