Over the last couple of days in my Reading Workshop, we have been reading a book called "Square Eyes." For our create task, we had to write 3 predictions on the story "Sqaure Eyes" and what we think was going to happen in the story. Then we had to summarise the story within 8 boxes and 16 words in each of the boxes. The first prediction was what you think would happen in the story and what you think it is about. The second prediction was about if your first prediction was correct or not and then what you think would happen in the rest of the story. Finally, the 3rd prediction was about if your 2nd one was correct or not.
Down below is my Create Task for this reading workshop. It involves my 3 predictions and around 6-8 boxes filled with me summarizing the whole story in my own words.
Have you ever done a task like this before?
Have you ever read the book called "Square Eyes" before?
Hello Hannah S!
ReplyDeleteGreat work! What got me a tiny bit confused is how the predictions and such are ordered. Apart from that I think you did pretty well putting it into some easy to understand word.
Hello Tamzin,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback! When I read it, I can understand it well but then I forgot about what other people might think. Does this make it easier?
Your first predicition was about what you think the story was going to be about. The second Prediction was if your first prediction was right and what you think might happen next. The thrid and final prediction was if your second prediction was right or not.
Thanks!
