Recraft!

Namaste everyone,

Throught out this term I have been working on goals that I want to get greened. Throught out the past two weeks in a writing workshop, the goal that I have been focusing on is: "Revise and rework writing for clarity, impact and purpose." This means that going over our writing pieces and posts to see if we can make it even better and to a more better of a high standed. As you probably have seen, I have recrafted one of my blog posts from the term called Kaupeka Digi Awards. I posted this in week 3 of this term. Here is the same copy of the post but I have recrafted it to make it even better.

Before reading it, have a look at my old one and then my new one to see the differences that I have changed and if I have made it better. Feel free to leave some comments on this one. :)

Quote of the day: (Chosen by me!) (Credits: Success Quotes)
"Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the Human Spirit. We are all in this notion together. The potential for greatness lives within each of us. "

Bonjour everyone! Welcome back to my amazing blog where I hope you can’t wait to read my blogs! I hope you guys have had a great first few weeks of the new year.
Before I get into today's blog, I will be telling you guys that every time I do a blog post, the starting of it will be with a quote. That quote will fit into the theme of the blog! Today in this lovely blog post that I have been creating, I will be talking to all the people about the Kaupeka's Digi Awards.
Whose ready?

Throughout Term 1 of 2019, our PBL (PBL= Project Based Learning.) topic is "What is Greatness?." Over the term we have be talking about Greatness. Some things we have been thinking about are:  Who we think shows Greatness the most, Some Greatness activities and then our final thing-  Our Kaupeka Digi Award’s project that fits into the theme of our topic. (Greatness) For the Kaupeka Digi Awards, we will be using the criteria and the rubrics of the Canterbury Digi Awards. (Website: Grow Waitaha.) We will be judged on all the things that are included in the rubrics and then the best out of everyone in Kaupeka who fits into all the requirements will win a prize and one of the placings. (Placings: 1st, 2nd and 3rd.) The categories that we can enter into are:  Storytelling, Commercial, Coding, Open and Website. We also can enter with people up to the maximum of 3 people or by ourselves. I am doing a website with my friend Samantha. (Just me and her!)
In our website, we will be including a video about Greatness and how we can show it in school time and in our community, Some info on Greatness and what it is, Some coding animations about
Greatness and some detailed Google Drawings around Greatness. (Most of the things we create and make will be around the theme “Greatness”.) We have a clear plan on what each of us have to do and are ready to face the big challenges that are coming ahead really soon and what we have faced already.
At the end of the term, we will have our own Kaupeka Digi Awards where we have a look at everyone's entries and congratulate everyone who did a great job. Those people that win a placing in their chosen category, will receive a prize.

Have you ever participated in some sort of Digi Awards before?
If so, what category did you enter into?
Did you win?
If you haven't entered, why not face your fear and give it a go?
