Hello everyone!,

Welcome back! Today in this Blog post, I will talking about Zones for Athletics.
Let's roll on round!

On Wednesday 7th November 2018, around 80 students across year 5- 8 went to Zones for Athletics. Those people that went to Athletics are the ones that came 1st or 2nd in my school's Atheltics on 25th October 2018. People from my school went for a varity of different things. Some of them were Discus, Sprints, Long Distance, Shot put, High Jump and Long Jump.
On the Wednesday Morning, the 80 students had to be at school by 8:15 as the bus was leaving at 8:30. It was pretty early for me! When we left we headed for Rawitit Domain. That is where the North Zone Athletics was going to be held. When we arrived we sat down in a group and then we waited for the Athletics to start. Before our event\s had started we would just be crusing, Playing around the trees, cheering on our school in events, relaxing and eating. It was going to be a fun day!

When it was time to go, we went back on the bus and headed back for school. I had competed in Discus and came 5th. I was very impressed!
It had been a very fun day and hopefully I will get to go next year.

Sorry their were no photo's taken from this event on the day!

Have you ever been to North Zone Athletics before?
