Hola everyone!
Here is another one of my book reviews for the pizza challenge! Hope you enjoy!!
Title: Bad Dad
Author: David Walliams
My Rating:
I give this book a 5\5 because it involves great detail and hooks you in really well. It also uses show not tell and as well gives cliff hangers and the end of some chapters.
Summary:
Bad Dad is a book about a boy named Frank who had a father who was a great race driver. He got 3 medals in a row for a racing competition. One night Franks father was racing but had an accident. He hurt his leg really bad and had to cut it off. That meant his father would not be able to race again. A few days later everything changed! Franks and his fathers stuff got taken off him because of things that he did and then started looking for a job. The people that he was working for are badies. One time he went driving when he wasn't supposed to and did stupid things that got him into prison for 10 years. Frank starts to plan a way for him to escape. Will he manage? Will the badies get into prison as well? Will frank be able to rescue his dad before it's to late?
Read Bad Dad to find out!
Recommendation: I recommend this book to people aged 11 and up because it does involve some things that younger kids should not plan to do when they are older.
